Daniel West
Chief Executive Officer

Daniel West is CEO of U-Turn Media Group N.V., which has operations in digital and mobile media technology, mobile gaming, media and information systems software development and advertising.

Prior to joining U-Turn Media Group, Daniel founded four companies with operations in digital media and advertising, including VAZION, BigBoard Networks, The ITEC Network and Cyberplay.  Daniel has also held executive positions at Nellymoser and management positions at Ernest and Julio Gallo Winery and Barclays Bank PLC.

Daniel graduated from Baylor University with a BA in Finance and Marketing.

Roy Joseph
President

Roy Joseph joined U-Turn Media Group with over 20 years of sales and general management experience. He has a proven track record building successful direct and indirect sales channels and teams across the US, Europe and the Far East for companies including Novell, FTP Software, Voxware, Inc. and Quarterdeck.

Before joining U-Turn Media Group, Roy co-founded and acted as EVP, Sales and Business Development of Nellymoser, a US-based Mobile Media Services company. Prior to Nellymoser, Roy was at Voxware, a NASDAQ-listed technology company, where he was instrumental in establishing Voxware's European offices and later managed worldwide sales efforts that won deals with industry players such as Nokia, Microsoft, Orange and Emblaze. While at Novell, Roy established international distribution channels for Novell's Network Management Products. He also successfully launched Firefox in Europe, which was subsequently acquired by FTP Software.

Dan Klaeren
Chief Operating Officer

As the COO at U-Turn Media Group, Dan Klaeren is responsible for driving the strategic direction of the company.

Dan has more than 17 years of diverse industry experience specializing in the areas of leadership, enterprise consulting, operations and application development.  Prior to joining U-Turn Media Group he was the Global Application Development Manager for the Ethics and Compliance Office at PricewaterhouseCoopers. 

Dan has also held key roles at Prudential, AT&T, Boeing and Charles Schwab.

Jana Křečková
Financial Director

Jana Křečková has been the Financial Director at U-Turn Media Group since 2006. Jana has over 10 years of financial experience gained through holding senior-level positions within multi-national corporations across the technology and commercial sectors. She brings a wealth of financial understanding and operational expertise to the management team.

Jana is a graduate of the University of Economics in Prague. She speaks several languages including English, German, Czech, Russian and Turkish.

Petr Cimprich
Technical Director, UNITY Mobile

Petr Cimprich has more than 11 years of IT industry experience specializing in Web and Web Services, XML and Mobiles.

Before joining U-Turn Media Group, Petr co-founded and for 7 years acted as COO, development lead and analyst of Ginger Alliance, a Czech-based software company. Prior to Ginger Alliance, Petr was in Hieronymus, being involved in localization of software with companies like IBM, Microsoft and Novell. Petr holds a PhD in Physics from Charles University in Prague.

Martin Zak
Technical Director, UTMG Consulting

Martin Zak is responsible for all activities of providing software system consulting services and custom software development.

Prior to taking the responsibility at UTMG Consulting, he started to gather the experience in software localization business and has continued as senior developer in custom software development and consulting company focused on mobile content delivery. Then with more then 8 years of expertise he led development of mobile platform at U-Turn.

Martin got master degree at Faculty of Electrical Engineering of Czech Technical University.

Jan Zvonik
Head of UTMG LABS

Jan Zvonik's responsibility is to lead business activities of QA and testing company UTMG LABS.

Prior to joining the mobile industry, Jan has worked as a business and civil law lawyer in Prague. Over more than 5 years of his mobile business career he provided senior level consultancy to key players in the industry and held a management role at Redboss, a mobile game development company and at U-Turn, where he led the product development.

Jan studied and graduated from Faculty of Law of Masaryk University. He
speaks English, French and Czech.

Jakub Mikyska
Head of Studio, Pixalon Studios

As the head of Pixalon Studios, Jakub Mikyska is responsible for driving forward the activities of Pixalon Studios, including product development, sales, technology and business development.

Jakub has 6 years of experience in the mobile application development market. Among his previous positions are: COO of Redboss, a mobile game development company and Head of Mobile Development at U-Turn, where Jakub oversaw the development of U-Turn’s key products.

Jakub studied at the Czech Technical University and is now studying the Private University of Economical Studies in Prague.
